Bridesmaid Dresses

We have chosen two different bridesmaid dresses for the girls to choose from.  They choices are from David's Bridal.  Molly and I had fun picking these dresses out for everyone to try.

We are having a fitting for the Iowa group October 28th- we are going to Sioux falls for a girls day out and some wedding fun.  We have 9 going so gear up for a blast!

We have found a photographer Jordan Lange

We pleased to announce that Jordan Lange will be taking pictures and creating memories for us at our wedding- we welcome her a board.  She has taken pictures for friends of ours and they were just beautiful and exactly what we are looking for.  We can't wait to see what she can do for our special day.

Wedding Colors

So after long debate we are sticking with a good color scheme.  We have chosen black, white, and silver.  The ladies in the bridal party are wearing a cocktail dress of some sort.  The gentlemen that are participating are wearing a tux/suit- we are still looking at ideas on that. We are going to be dressing up the wedding and reception with seasonal flowers of various colors.  So if you have some ideas of beautiful flowers to use let us know.

We know what your thinking-they don't really have anything figured out-are we right?  Well actually we really do.  We don't want to give it all away yet do we?  I think not :-)

Welcome family and friends. I hope everyone is excited about our wedding as much as we are.  We created this blog so that everyone is kept up to date with the exciting wedding planning, get maps of places to be at, be in the loop, and be apart of our special day.

A lot of things have happened in the last month so let us catch you up to speed.  First things first our wedding has moved to June 22nd 2013.  The wedding will be located in Iowa, so for all of the Kansas people that are thinking of making the trip, this is about 5.5-6 hours depending on the route.

Lodging

 The best deal was at AmericInn Hotel here in Spencer, Iowa. This place has it all: indoor swimming pool, hot tub, pool table, wireless internet, an amazing free breakfast with stay, workout facility, and amazing rooms.  I have blocked together 9 rooms for anyone and one for Molly and I, so that is 10 rooms.  If you want to reserve a room through the block we could get a group discount.  If we have more people that want a room, no problem we can add rooms but we need to know fast.  People can also get AAA or AARP discounts.  If you want to book a room just give them a call and tell them the Chaney/Lundquist party and they will put you in the block associated with our wedding.  We have reserved 9 queen size rooms-they do have larger rooms available if you are wanting something different.  The queen rooms are 89.10 plus tax with an amazing breakfast buffet in the morning and lots of flavored coffees.
